Learning Activity Objectives:

upon completion of this activity the participants will be able to

1)  identify The need and requirements for an informed decision-making process on contraceptive choice

2) characterize The following contraceptive methods based on mechanism of action, indicators of effectiveness, side effects, non- contraceptive benefits, eligibility criteria and interventions for certain problems during use.                                     

3) define steps on counselling in reproductive health, focusing on family planning counselling.
4) define basic indicators related to population and family planning.
