Learning Activity Description:

The hands-on training is located in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The city you all should visit and explore.

To know more about the venue, please look into the learning activity requirements.

This is an intensive, hands-on, course that is divided into three days with over 18 hours of pure practical training. The course is aimed to teach and help all health workers who deal with surgical or trauma patients to master the necessary and basic surgical skills.

There will be the use of dry and different animal-simulated materials to give the participant the feel of suturing in different situations. The candidate will have the chance to highly focused training and practice different suturing techniques on animal models.


Learning Outcome:

upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to :

1-    Recognize the different types of instruments used in OR

2- Apply safe surgical practice

            3- Perform different types of suturing in several techniques

            4- Learn and apply different types of stitches
