Attendees will gain didactic foundation to establish a consistent standard of practice in real time imaging. This standard of practice will further improve the quality of images obtained for official, interpretable studies in imaging archive systems as part of the patient’s record

1. Understand basic sonographic physics and knobology as it relates to gynecologic image production
2. Name basic indications, limitations, and utility for transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging
3. Identify normal sonographic sectional anatomy of gynecologic structures
4. Identify common sonographic pathologies of gynecologic structures
5. Name indications, utility, and limitations of advanced gynecologic imaging methods
6. Understand imaging considerations for pediatric, peri-and post-menopausal patients
7. Explore considerations for gynecologic imaging in the COVID-era
8. Complete a structured, systematic report for gynecologic sonographic exams
9. Describe roles of the healthcare team, particularly sonographers and physicians, in hand-off communication in gynecologic imaging and subsequent delivery of care
